Virginia from Seattle says “Do anything that inspires you!”
We recently had the honor of meeting a very sprightly lady named Virginia as we were enjoying “coffee and cake” at an open air coffee shop in downtown Seattle. Virginia approached us and asked whether we would mind if she shared our table. We gladly welcomed her as she radiated positivity and the waiter brought her coffee and chocolate cupcake to the table.…
The day after our meeting with Karolina, it transpired that she had shared her discussions with us and her copy of Journey of a Shaman we had given her with her friends. We were approached by Erica,
one of Karolina’s friends, an Australian woman, who had wanted to find out more about what we were now doing. She was particularly interested in hearing about our work with the First Nation people in Whistler who came from the Squamish and Lil’wat nations.…
I met John Norseman in July 2012, introduced via a marina manager to provide yacht maintenance and crew services aboard John’s fifty- five-foot motor yacht, Izafel.
While working on Izafel, I began to get to know John. He would cook lunch onboard and we’d sit down and talk. He soon told me that he was a shaman and asked if I knew what that was.
On 31st July we left Vancouver and took the Rocky Mountaineer train to Whistler, a village located in a beautiful mountainous area of British Columbia in Canada. In winter it is a ski resort, which featured as part of Canada’s hosting of the 2010 Winter Olympics. The areas surrounding Whistler are very wild, with mountains, rivers, waterfalls and dense forests. Bears and other wildlife thrive in this natural habitat.…
